About Annika Sorenstam

Born in Sweeden in 1970, Annika Sorenstam has been the number one golfer on the LPGA tour for the past four years and is arguably one of the best female athletes of all time.

Crediting her parents, Tom and Gunilla, and her sister, Lotta, as the individuals who have most influenced her career, she began to play golf at the age of 12.

Since that time, she has amassed numberous professional golf titles and personal achievement awareds, and continues to break records on a daily basis - firmly establishing herself as a role model for women and female athletes around the world.

About Morgan Pressel

Morgan started playing golf at the age of 8 and credits her grandfather, Herb Krickstein as the individual who most influenced her career.

As an amateur, she was the youngest player to qualify for the Women's US Open at the age of 12 in 2005 (this record has since been broken). In 2005 she won the US Women's Amateur. She was the top-ranked girls junior and women's amateur by Golfweek magazine for much of 2005.

She qualified for the LPGA Tour in 2006 on her first attempt. She carded a career-low 64 during the second round of the Corning Classic. She tied for third in the rookie of the year race.

In 2007 Morgan won her first event, the Kraft Nabisco Championship. By doing so, she became the youngest player in the LPGA Tour history to win a Major Championship at 18 years, 10 months and 9 days.

She crossed the 1 million dollar mark in career earnings in 2007.

Morgan's hobbies include, photography, computers and her Blackberry.

About Alena Sharp

Alena Sharp was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. Her interest in sports has been passionate since she was a child. Growing up Sharp competed in a variety of sports like hockey, soccer, and golf through high school.

Her golf skills earned her an athletic scholarship at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico where she blossomed into a star earning First Team All-American honors.

Since turning professional, Sharp has collected six professional wins. Sharp competes week in and week out on the LPGA Tour where she is recognized as one of the top 100 women golfers in the world.(According to Rolex World Rankings) Sharp takes pride in having a career best 2007 season on the LPGA where she completed the season as the top Canadian on the money list. Recognized as the Canadian Women's Touring Professional Golfer of the Year, (by multiple organizations) Sharp earned her first top 10 finish on the LPGA at the CN Women's Open in Edmonton. The 2007 year ended on a high note with another Top 10 finish at the Honda Classic in Thailand.
